The Centre of Contemporary Art Luigi Pecci in Prato, was founded in 1988 in memory of Luigi Pecci, the son of the Industrialist Enrico Pecci, with contributions by some companies, the city administration, business people and also private citizens.
The Museum is active internationally, it has a wide program of events, performances, exhibitions and didactic activity.
The Centre of Contemporary Art Luigi Pecci has also an important permanent collection with works by major artists over the past 30 years.
