Cortona Medieval Festival, Tuscany

Medieval Festival, Cortona, Tuscany

Inserito originariamente da blork

It’s one thing to see a bunch of RPG dorks baffing themselves over the head with duct-tape swords on Mont-Royal or a park in Longueuil. It’s quite another to see a medieval festival (complete with role-playing games with real swords) in a walled city in Tuscany, where the participants are not doing it to amuse tourists, but as a reflection and reinforcement of their culture.

Mulino Bianco: the Only & Original Barilla Spotplace

Inserito originariamente da Firenzesca

In 1992, a worldwide famous Italian company, maker of pasta & cakes, launched a series of advertising spots based on “Mulino Bianco” (“White Watermill”).
It was inspired by a real place, here in Tuscany, between Siena and Tyrrenian Sea.
Here it is, as it shows nowadays.
